Marion Adaptor

A mine client preferred the Marion Pedal, but they needed to upgrade their switching systems on their swing pedal.

They sent us an old Marion Pedal so we could design a purpose built switch/encoder drive assembly.

As the idler shaft of the Marion Pedal can vary in height considerably from one pedal unit to another, our design had to incorporate a means of aligning the system with the idler shaft.

This was successfully accomplished and it is now in full service.

The Marion Pedal Adaptor can be set up as a replacement for most original switch gear.

N.B. With the original encoder/switch drive assembly, we designed for the Marion, we actually used old Marion Pedal assembly as a sample. We believe that it would be impractical to try to do this in the field!
